Lead nurture feature

The Lead Nurture feature allows you to automate communication tasks with leads. The AI Employee can automatically schedule SMS messages, phone calls, meetings, and emails at specified intervals before or after a booking appointment.

Create a Lead Nurture Project

Note

Only complete this step if you are upgrading a older account. All newly created AI Employees will have a Lead Nurture module included.

  1. Navigate to the Projects page in the Builder.

  2. Click the three dots icon and select Create New Project.

  3. Configure the new project with the following settings:

    • Idn: lead_nurturing

    • Title: lead_nurturing

    • Registry: production

    • Module version: Latest version

  4. Toggle on Auto update enabled.

  5. Click Create.

  6. Next to the newly created project, click the three dots icon, and select Force Update Project.

  7. Wait a few moments, refresh your page, and click Publish All.

Configure the Lead Nurture Attribute Metadata

  1. Use the left-side menu to navigate to the Attributes page.

  2. Toggle on Show Hidden, search for the attribute project_attributes_setting_init_one_time_attributes_metadata, and set it to True.

  3. Click Save and Publish All.

Add Lead Nurturing Instructions

On the Attributes page, search for project_attributes_setting_lead_nurturing_instructions. Here you can provide a list of instructions for lead nurturing for after a successful CTA.

At the end of every session, the AI Employee will determine if the CTA was achieved and scheduled the according tasks. The instructions should specify:

  • When the action should occur (relative to the booking time)

  • What action to perform

The following actions are currently supported:

  • Create meeting

  • Send SMS

  • Make call

  • Send email

Instruction Format

Keep instructions simple and clear. Use the format:

> [Action] [time period] before/after booking [and additional details]

Example Instructions

> Send SMS 5 days before booking and remind them of their appointment. 
> Call them 3 days before booking and send SMS with reschedule option.
> Send SMS 2 days before booking, remind them of appointment with reschedule option.
> Call them 1 day before booking and send SMS with appointment reminder details: [appointment_date], [appointment_time].
> Send SMS 2 hours before booking and remind them of appointment.
> Call them 1 day after booking and ask for their feedback, if they enjoyed everything, have any complaints or suggestions.

Save and Publish

After entering your instructions, click Save and Publish All.

The Lead Nurture feature is now active and will automatically create tasks for each specified action relative to the booking time.

Disabling Lead Nurturing

To stop the Lead Nurture automation:

  1. Navigate to Attributes page using the left-side menu.

  2. Locate the project_attributes_setting_lead_nurturing_instructions attribute.

  3. Remove all instructions from the field (delete all text).

  4. Click Save and Publish All.
