The settings page provides configuration options for your AI Employee. This is where you can insert and update details that define how your AI Employee operates. The page is organized into multiple tabs, each focused on a specific configuration area. Below is a list of all attributes in each tab.

Business

The Business tab manages account-level details for the customer's organization, including identity, contact information, operating hours, and billing details. These settings determine how the AI Employee represents the business during interactions.

Attributes include:

  • Business name (project_business_name): Short business name (2-5 words) used in email headers, SMS, and signatures.

  • Business Address (project_business_address): Complete physical address of the business or specific branch location.

  • Business Phone (Public Phone) (project_business_public_phone): Official published phone number used in conversations.

  • Business Description (project_business_story): Official published phone number used in conversations.

  • Business Website Link (URL) (project_business_website_url): The website link your AI Employee can share with users.

  • Working Hours (project_business_working_hours): Defines operational and non-working hours.

  • Business Time Zone (project_business_time_zone): The time zone your business operates in.

  • Payment Methods (project_attributes_payment_methods): Listed accepted payment types.

  • Billing Manager Full Name (project_business_top_owner_name): Full name of the billing contact.

  • Billing Manager Phone Number (project_business_top_owner_phone): Phone number of the billing contact (with country code).

  • Billing Manager Email (project_business_top_owner_email): Email address for billing and invoice communications.

  • Common (Shared) Phone Numbers (project_attributes_setting_common_phone_numbers): Numbers used by multiple staff members.

  • CRM (project_attributes_info_crm): Specifies the CRM system in use (information only).

  • Estimated Monthly Calls (project_business_expected_number_of_calls_month_location): Average call volume estimate for planning purposes.

  • Industry (project_business_industry): Defines the business sector; should not be changed after setup.

Agent

The Agent tab defines the AI Employee’s identity and communication style. These attributes determine how the AI Employee interacts with customers across voice and chat channels.

Attributes include:

  • Agent Name (project_representative_agent_name): The name of your AI employee as it appears in messages and signatures.

  • Agent Title (project_representative_agent_title): The job title used in the AI Employee’s signature (e.g., AI Sales Rep, AI Receptionist).

  • Agent Tone of Voice and Style (project_representative_agent_style): Defines the AI Employee’s communication tone, pace, and language style.

  • Voice - Integration Service - Voice to Voice Provider - GenAI - Voice (project_attributes_setting_voice_integration_service_voice_to_voice_provider_genai_voice): Select a GenAI voice option from available styles.

  • Voice - Integration Service - Voice to Voice Provider - OpenAI - Voice (project_attributes_setting_voice_integration_service_voice_to_voice_provider_openai_voice): Select an OpenAI voice option from available styles.

  • Agent Supported Languages (project_representative_agent_supported_languages): Lists languages supported by the AI Employee.

  • Agent Phone Number (AI Phone) (project_representative_agent_voice_phone_number): Displays the assigned AI phone number. Do not modify.

  • Voice – Greeting Phrase – Inbound (project_representative_agent_voice_greeting_phrase): The greeting the AI Employee uses at the start of phone calls.

  • Chat – Greeting Phrase (project_representative_agent_chat_greeting_phrase): The initial message displayed in chat sessions.

  • Bypass Phone Number (project_attributes_setting_voice_integration_service_voice_to_voice_provider_openai_voice): Number used for call forwarding when the AI Employee is in bypass mode.

Knowledge Base

The Knowledge Base tab defines the reference information the AI Employee uses to answer customer questions accurately. These attributes contain the business’s products, services, FAQs, and rules.

  • Products & Services (project_attributes_products_and_services): Lists products and services offered by the business, ideally with descriptions, pricing, and payment links.

  • Unavailable Products & Services (projects_attributes_products_and_services_not_offering): Specifies services or products that are not available to prevent confusion.

  • Specials (products_attributes_current_specials): Lists current promotions, discounts, or time-limited offers for the AI Employee to mention in conversion.

  • FAQ (products_attributes_faq): Contains frequently asked questions and answers that the AI Employee can use to respond to users.

  • Additional Details and Rules (project_attributes_terms_and_conditions): Outlines practical information customers may ask about.

  • RAG - Knowledge Base - Text (products_attributes_rag_knowledge_base_text): Contains extended business information used for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), allowing the AI Employee to access deeper context dynamically during conversations.

Agent Behavior

The Agent Behavior tab defines how the AI Employee interprets user intent, communicates with customers, manages escalations, and handles appointments or sales workflows. These attributes collectively control the AI Employee’s functional logic and conversation flow.

Attributes include:

Intent Mapping and Scenarios/Procedures

  • Intent Type Map - ITM (Business Onboarding Interview - BOI) (project_attributes_itm): Defines how the AI Employee maps customer intent to specific scenarios, such as sales, lead qualification, or appointment setting.

  • Custom Agent Scenarios (project_attributes_custom_scenarios): Allows you to create or modify conversation scenarios that define step-by-step agent behavior.

  • Custom Agent Procedures (project_attributes_custom_procedures): Defines reusable procedures or actions (e.g., confirming a user’s name or email).

Appointments and Scheduling

  • Appointment - Google Calendar Meeting - Enabled (project_attributes_setting_meeting_creation_enabled): Enables the AI Employee to automatically create and send Google Calendar invitations during calls or chats.

  • After Appointment Notes (project_attributes_sales_after_appointment_notes): Contains follow-up notes for users after an appointment has been booked.

  • Appointment Setting - Self-schedule Link (URL) (project_attributes_sales_appointment_url): Provides a URL where customers can self-schedule their appointments.

  • Appointment Setting - Self-schedule Guidance Instruction (project_attributes_sales_appointment_via_link_guidance_instruction): Provides instructions the AI Employee can use to guide users through self-scheduling.

Communication with Users (Email and SMS)

  • Email to User During Session - Enabled (project_attributes_setting_email_send_information_enabled): Enables the AI Employee to send emails to users during conversations.

  • Email to User During Session - Allowed Content (project_attributes_setting_email_send_information_allowed_content): Defines the specific content the AI Employee can send via email.

  • Email to User During Session - Allowed Content Items (project_attributes_setting_email_send_information_allowed_content_items): Lists which content types (e.g., appointment confirmations, forms) are permitted in emails.

  • SMS to User During Session - Enabled (project_attributes_setting_sms_send_information_enabled): Enables the AI Employee to send SMS messages to users during conversations

  • SMS to User During Session - Allowed Content (project_attributes_setting_sms_send_information_allowed_content): Defines the specific content the AI Employee can send via SMS (links, confirmation texts, etc.).

  • SMS to User During Session - Allowed Content Items (project_attributes_setting_sms_send_information_allowed_content_items): Specifies the types of content permitted in SMS communications.

Communication with Managers

  • Email to Manager - Email Address (project_business_manager_email): The email address where the AI Employee sends leads, reports, and important updates.

Call Transfers and Escalation

  • Transfer call to Manager - Enabled (project_attributes_setting_transfer_call_enabled): Enables the AI Employee to transfer calls to a human co-worker.

  • Transfer Call to Manager - Phone # Non-Working Hours (project_business_non_working_hour_escalation_phone): Specifies the escalation number for non-working hours.

  • Transfer Call to Manager - Phone # Working Hours (project_business_working_hour_escalation_phone): Specifies the escalation number for working hours.

  • Transfer Call to Manager - Call Criteria (project_attributes_setting_transfer_call_criteria): Defines the conditions under which calls should be transferred to a manager (e.g., emergencies, lost items, or appointment confirmations).

  • Transfer Call to Manager - Advanced Phone Number Selection & Rules (project_attributes_setting_transfer_call_phone_numbers): Allows different escalation numbers for different scenarios.

Promotional Messages and Follow-ups

  • Promotional SMS - Enabled (project_attributes_setting_session_ended_sms_enabled): Enables sending follow-up SMS messages after a conversation ends.

  • Promotional SMS Content (project_attributes_setting_session_ended_sms_content): Defines the message text for post-session promotional or informational SMS messages.

Phone Call Handling

  • Phone - Instant Callback on Abort (project_attributes_setting_instant_callback_on_abort_enabled): When enabled, the AI Employee automatically calls back after a connection failure.

Sales and Qualification

  • Pre-Sale Notes (project_attributes_sales_pre_sale_questions): Lists the initial questions the AI Employee should ask before making a sale.

  • Qualification Criteria (project_attributes_sales_qualifying_criteris): Defines the criteria that determine whether a user qualifies for a sales conversation.

  • Action on Qualification Failure (project_attributes_sales_qualifying_criteria_fallback_action): Specifies what happens when the user does not meet the qualifying criteria.

  • Qualification Questions (project_attributes_sales_qualifying_questions): Lists the specific questions the AI Employee should ask to qualify potential leads.

Reports

The Reports tab defines how performance metrics, lead tracking, and post-session reports are calculated and distributed.

Attributes include:

  • ASR - Average Lead Value (project_attributes_setting_asr_average_lead_value): Defines the average revenue generated per client or per transaction. Used as a default for Additional Secured Revenue (ASR) calculations when the agent doesn’t specify a price.

  • ASR - Conversion Ratio (project_attributes_setting_asr_conversion_ratio): Sets the percentage of conversations that result in confirmed purchases or bookings.

  • ASR - Redirection Type (Working Hours) (project_attributes_setting_asr_redirection_type_working_hours): Determines how ASR recognition is applied during working hours (e.g., Overflow vs. Non-Overflow conditions).

  • Reports - Session Ended Report - Enabled (project_attributes_session_ended_report_enabled): Enables or disables automated manager reports via email or SMS once a session concludes.

  • Reports - Session Ended Report - Content (project_attributes_session_ended_report_content): Defines what information is included in the session completion report (e.g., booking details, lead data, or conversation type).

  • Reports - Session Ended Report - Criteria (project_attributes_session_ended_report_criteria_template): Specifies which types of sessions generate reports and which recipients (emails or phone numbers) should receive them.

  • Reports - Session Ended Report - Transcript (project_attributes_session_ended_report_include_transcript): Allows inclusion or exclusion of full conversation transcripts in reports.

  • Reports - Session Ended Report - UTM Tags (project_attributes_session_ended_report_include_utm_tags): Controls whether UTM tracking parameters are included in reports for marketing analytics and source tracking.

Support

The Support tab displays key system information and offers a shared space for recording project-related notes and communications between the business owner and partner support team.

Attributes include:

  • SuperAgent Version (project_attributes_private_sa_version): Displays the current version of the SuperAgent (AI Employee framework) used by your project. This value is automatically populated by the system and helps Newo.ai Support verify compatibility and troubleshoot version-specific issues.

  • Free Notes (project_attributes_free_notes): A general-purpose text field that is not used in AI Employee operations. Use it as a shared notebook to record project notes, support requests, or helpful links for internal reference.

Chat

The chat tab provides the script and configuration options for embedding the AI Employee web chat widget on a website. You can copy the widget script directly or customize its appearance and behavior under the Show/Hide settings panel.
