For companies without a Google maps link or their own website (particularly small businesses), it's necessary to create a default AI Employee without scraping any sources. This guide documents the available methods for creating such AI Employees.
⚠️ Critical Warning
NEVER change the industry after an AI Employee has been initialized. Changing the industry after the AI Employee has been created will cause unexpected behavior.
If you need an AI Employee in a different industry, create a new one from scratch with the correct industry selection.
Method 1: Quick Creation (Recommended)
Navigate to the 1-Click Builder.
In the website field, enter
empty agent.Click Get Started for Free and continue with the usual creation process.
An agent will be created in the sales_industry for a fictional organization.
Method 2: Manual Configuration (Workaround)
Create an empty customer
Navigate to the customer listing page.
Click the three dots icon in the top-right.
Select Create Empty Customer.
Add New Industry Attribute
Navigate to the Builder for this new empty customer account.
Go to the Attributes page.
Click the three dots icon in the top-right.
Select Add Attribute fill in the following values:

Click Create.
Add New Phone Channel Attribute
On the Attributes page, click the three dots icon in the top-right.
Select Add Attribute fill in the following values:

Click Create and Publish All.
The AI Employee will be initialized with default values for the selected industry. The phone number will be obtained according to the attribute configuration.
