This article explains how to connect GoHighLevel to your AI Employee to book meetings/appointments in your calendar.

Prerequisites

Follow the official GoHighLevel documentation to register an OAuth application and receive a Client ID and Secret.

Configure your Newo.ai project

  1. On the Newo.ai Platform, navigate to your customer’s Builder.

  1. Go to the Projects page, click the three dots icon in the top-right and Create New Project.

  1. Fill in the fields and ensure Auto update enabled is turned on:

    • Idn: gohighlevel

    • Title: gohighlevel

    • Module: ghl_integration

  2. Click Create.

  1. Click the three dots icon next to the newly created Project.

  2. Click Force Update Project.

  1. Click Publish All.​

Connect GoHighLevel to your Newo.ai account

  1. Navigate to the Attributes page.

  2. Search for and fill in the following attributes:

    1. GoHighLevel Client ID: The OAuth2 Client ID issued by GoHighLevel when registering an application. Used to identify the client during authorization.

    2. GoHighLevel Client Secret: The OAuth2 Client Secret issued by GoHighLevel. Used together with the Client ID to authenticate the application during token exchange.

    3. GoHighLevel OAuth Code: One-time OAuth2 authorization code exchanged for access and refresh tokens. After successful use it is automatically invalidated (cannot be reused).

  3. Click Save and Publish All.

Verify by creating and deleting a test meeting

  1. Call your AI Employee and try make a booking for a known empty time within your GoHighLevel calendar.

  2. Refresh GoHighLevel and confirm a booking has been added to your calendar.

  3. On the same call, state that you want to cancel your booking.

  4. Refresh GoHighLevel and confirm the booking was removed from your calendar.
