This article details the exact steps for using Newo.ai’s 1-Click Builder to spin up a pre-production AI Employee from a business’s Google Maps or website profile. It also specifies what to enter in Advanced settings depending on whether you’re building live on a sales call or before the call for demo prep.
Restaurant industry only: Verify Google Maps booking path
Before you build, confirm whether bookings are handled inside the Google Maps interface. On the business’s Google profile, look for the Reserve a table button.
Click it and ensure the flow stays inside Google Maps. If it jumps out to a third-party site, the agent cannot place bookings directly in Maps and will fall back to sending a booking link by SMS.

Launch the 1-Click Builder
If you're new to the platform, you can access the 1-Click Builder in two ways:
Both options will take you to a section with two input fields to enter a business website URL or find the business on Google Maps.
Enter business details
When creating an AI employee for your customer, you can either train it from their website URL or Google Maps Business profile.
Website Training: Input their website URL in the left-side field (if viewed on Desktop) and click Train Your AI On The Website.
Google Maps Business Profile Training: Start typing the name or location of your business in the right-side field (if viewed on Desktop). Select your location or business when it appears in the search and click Train Your AI On The Google Maps.
Scraping Context Information
The 1-Click Builder might not be able to scrape ALL information about a business. Later, you can add additional context after this "out-of-the-box" agent has been created.
Enter contact details
When the 1-Click Builder is finished scraping information about the business, you’ll land on a screen to enter contact details. The following three fields are compulsory:
Customer Full Name
Customer Email
Customer Phone
What you enter into these fields (either your information or your customers) depends on your scenario (see What contact details to enter).
Click Show Advanced settings:
Account Manager Email and Technical Owner Email: Add these to assign specific team members of your team to be able to access your customers' AI Employee.
AI phone country code: Select the country code where the customer operates.
Promo Code: Optional.
Partner Comments: Recommended for customer account notes like sales call purpose or special requests.

What contact details to enter (two scenarios)
A) Building live on a sales call
Use the customer’s full name, email, and phone in the main fields so they immediately receive the agent details via email. In Show Advanced settings, add:
Account Manager Email: Your primary sales/contact email at the partner
Technical Owner Email: Your implementation/solutions engineer (or the customer’s technical lead if agreed)
This setup lets the customer gain access to the Newo.ai Portal and your team gain access to the agent to help with further modifications.
B) Building before the first call (demo prep)
Use your (the partner) name, email, and phone in the main fields so that your potential customer does not receive the agent details via email without their knowledge.
In Show Advanced settings, you can add other team members (if needed) using the Account Manager Email and Technical Owner Email.
In both scenarios, select the AI phone country code based on the customer’s operating country.
Provisioning and live smoke test
After submission, you’ll get an AI phone number. If you’re on a call with your customer, have them place a live test call (speaker on) to get the experience.
You’ll also see two actions:
Schedule free onboarding: For end customers only; not used by partners.
Manage Your AI Employee: Partners should click this to proceed to the Portal.
Important
The 1-Click Builder delivers a pre-production agent. It works, but it isn’t finished. Next, proceed with your customer to capture information not present on the website/Maps, and make further modifications to the behavior of the agent.
