Hospitality-specific attributes

Updated this week

These attributes are unique to the Hospitality industry and control reservation handling, booking availability checks, guest communication, and revenue tracking. They appear in the Attributes tab when a customer project is set to the Hospitality industry.

IDN:project_attributes_hospitality_large_group_reservation_email

Agent behavior

Large group reservation - minimum party size

IDN:project_attributes_hospitality_large_group_reservation_minimum_party_size

Defines the minimum number of guests at which a reservation is considered a large group order.

Large group reservation - questions

IDN:project_attributes_hospitality_large_group_reservation_questions

Specify the questions the agent should ask regarding a reservation for a large group.

Example:

What is the occasion? Do you have any special accommodation requests?

Regular reservation - check-in notes

IDN:project_attributes_hospitality_regular_reservation_check_in_notes

Specify the information the agent should provide to the guest regarding hotel check-in rules.

Example:

Please have a physical ID with you at check-in. Check-in time is at 3 PM, and check-out time is at 12 PM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability.

Regular reservation - questions

IDN:project_attributes_hospitality_regular_reservation_questions

Specify the questions the agent should ask before sending the registration link.

Example:

How many people will be attending?

Reservation setting - self-reservation link (URL) - guidance instruction

IDN:project_attributes_hospitality_regular_reservation_via_link_guidance_instruction

Provide the booking form instructions that the agent reads out to your client. This helps guide them through the process and ensures they fill in the fields correctly.

Example:

Open the link, and you'll see beautiful photos. Scroll down to the "Details of Your Stay" section. Enter the Check-in Date, Check-out Date, and the number of guests, then press the "Check Availability" button.

Reservation link (URL)

IDN:project_attributes_hospitality_reservation_url

Provide the link where the user can make a reservation (book online).

If online booking is not available, leave this field empty.

Booking - check availability - link (URL)

IDN:project_attributes_setting_booking_check_availability_url

Defines the URL where the agent sends availability check requests. The URL must be a valid endpoint that can handle these requests.

If project_attributes_setting_booking_check_availability_type is set to default, you may still provide a Google Maps URL to your business card in case your hotel name is not unique or Google may match it incorrectly.

When this URL is provided, the agent uses it to directly identify your business on Google Maps, ensuring a precise and reliable availability check. This is especially important when:

  • Your business name is shared by multiple hotels or locations

  • The name on Google Maps differs slightly from how guests commonly write it

  • Google might incorrectly match your business based on name alone

If your business name is perfectly accurate and unique on Google, you may leave this field empty and the agent automatically finds your business using the name.

To obtain this URL:

  1. Open your business in Google Maps so you see the Check Availability button.

  2. Click Share.

  3. Click Copy Link and paste it in this attribute.

Reports

ASR - average bill amount for large group reservation per person per day

IDN:project_attributes_hospitality_bill_average_per_person_per_day_large_group_reservation

Defines the average bill amount per person for large group reservations, used in ASR (Average Sales Revenue) calculations. It helps estimate revenue and pricing when accommodating large parties.

  • The value represents the expected spending per person per day for large group reservations

  • It is used to calculate total revenue for group bookings and contributes to ASR metrics

For example, if the value is set to 250 (representing $250 per person per day) and a large group reservation is made for 20 guests, the estimated revenue would be 20 x $250 = $5,000.

ASR - average bill amount for regular reservation per person per day

IDN:project_attributes_hospitality_bill_average_per_person_per_day_regular_reservation

Defines the average bill amount per person per day for regular reservations, used in ASR (Average Sales Revenue) calculations. It helps estimate revenue and pricing for standard reservations.

  • The value represents the expected spending per person per day for a regular reservation

  • It is used to calculate total revenue for standard bookings and contributes to ASR metrics

For example, if the value is set to 200 (representing $200 per person per day) and a reservation is made for 4 guests, the estimated revenue would be 4 x $200 = $800.

ASR - minimum bill amount for large group reservation per day

IDN:project_attributes_hospitality_bill_minimum_per_day_large_group_reservation

Defines the minimum bill amount required for large group reservations per day, used in ASR (Average Sales Revenue) calculations. It ensures that revenue calculations meet a baseline amount, even if the per-person bill total is lower.

  • The value represents the minimum amount (in currency) required for a large group reservation

  • If a reservation's total falls below this value, the minimum bill amount is used instead for ASR calculations

For example:

  • Average bill per person per day: $200

  • Number of people: 10

  • Total calculated amount: 10 x $200 = $2,000

  • Minimum large group bill set: $2,500

  • Since $2,000 is below the minimum, the ASR calculation uses $2,500 instead
