Purchase a phone number through the Newo Twilio account so it is ready to connect to a Newo AI Employee.

Complete the telephony setup overview to confirm that Twilio is the correct provider for your target country.
Access the Newo Twilio account
Go to console.twilio.com.
Sign in with your Newo credentials.
Find the Buy a Number page
Use the Twilio search bar at the top of the console.
Type
buy number.Select Buy A Number from the search results.
Search and select a number
The following filters are available when searching for a number:
Filter | Description |
Country | The country where the number will be provisioned |
Capabilities | Voice, SMS, MMS, or Fax — select the capabilities the AI Employee requires |
Number Type | Local, Mobile, National, or Toll-Free |
Set the filters for your target number.
Click Search.
Review the available numbers in the results list.
Click Buy next to the number you want to purchase.
Review phone number details
Review the modal that appears — it displays the fields below — then click Next.
Field | Description |
Phone number | The number you selected |
Monthly cost | The recurring charge for this number |
Capabilities | Voice, SMS, MMS, or Fax capabilities included |
Routing region | The geographic region used for call routing |
Select the end-user type
Select Business as the end-user type.
Click Next.
🗒️ NOTE
Always select Business. Individual end-user types are not used for Newo AI Employee numbers.
Assign the regulatory bundle and address
Configure the following regulatory and address assignments and click Buy.

Assign approved Bundle | Search for the regulatory bundle that matches the target country and select it |
Assign Address | Search for and select the address associated with the bundle |
Confirm the purchase
The Number Purchased confirmation screen appears. The purchased number is displayed in E.164 format.
🗒️ NOTE
Record the full phone number in E.164 format (e.g. +49 15888 631407). You will need it to configure the Newo agent connector.
