Purchase a phone number via Telnyx

This guide explains how to purchase phone numbers through the Newo Telnyx account. After completing this process you will have active Telnyx numbers ready to be connected to a Newo AI Employee.

Complete the telephony setup overview to confirm that Telnyx is the correct provider for your target country.

Access the Newo Telnyx account

  1. Sign in with your Newo credentials. If you do not have access, contact your Newo administrator to request it.

Find the Buy Numbers page

  1. Use the Telnyx search bar at the top of the portal.

  2. Type buy Numbers.

  3. Select Buy Numbers from the search results.

Search and select numbers

  1. Set the filters for your target numbers:

Country

The country where the numbers will be provisioned

Features

Voice, SMS, MMS β€” select the capabilities required

Type

Local, Mobile, National, or Toll-Free

Region

The geographic region within the selected country

  1. Review the available numbers in the results list.

  2. Select numbers using the checkboxes.

  3. Click Add selected to cart.

Review the cart and assign a requirements group

  1. Review the numbers in your cart.

  2. For each number, locate the Requirement Groups column.

  3. Select the pre-approved requirements group that matches the partner name.

  4. Click Place Order.

⚠️ CAUTION

Telnyx may require compliance documentation to be submitted within 2 days of purchase for international numbers. If prompted, follow the link shown in the yellow banner to upload the required documents. The compliance upload process is outside the scope of this guide.

Monitor the order status

  1. Go to the Number Orders tab.

  2. Check the order status. The status progresses from Pending to Approved.

  3. Once approved, the numbers appear in Managed Numbers and are ready for connector configuration.

πŸ—’οΈ NOTE

Once the order status is Approved, the numbers appear in Managed Numbers. Record the full numbers in E.164 format (e.g. +380 94 712 3218). You will need them to configure the Newo agent connector.
