Configure the voice disclaimer phrase

Updated yesterday

The voice disclaimer phrase is spoken before the greeting on every inbound call. It is commonly used to relay emergency service information, legal notices, or other mandatory disclosures. This guide explains how to set a disclaimer phrase that your AI Employee speaks at the beginning of every call.

This phrase is configured using the project_representative_agent_voice_disclaimer_phrase attribute. If the attribute is left empty, no disclaimer is spoken.

Configure the voice disclaimer phrase

  1. In the Portal, go to Settings > Agent tab.

  2. Locate the project_representative_agent_voice_disclaimer_phrase attribute.

  3. Enter the disclaimer text you want the AI Employee to speak at the start of each call.

  4. Click Save.

Example phrases

Emergency services notice:

If this is an emergency, please hang up and call 9-1-1.

Recording notice:

This call may be recorded for quality and training purposes.

Combined notice:

This call may be recorded. If this is a medical emergency, please hang up and call 9-1-1.

πŸ—’οΈ NOTE

The disclaimer phrase is spoken before the greeting phrase. Keep it brief so callers reach the greeting quickly. For the greeting that follows, see Configure the inbound greeting phrase.
