Builder - Conversations

The Conversations page in the Builder provides real-time visibility into AI Employee interactions. Use it to monitor live conversations, review message history per persona, and filter by session, connector, or date range.

Access the Conversations page

  1. Open the Builder.

  2. Click Conversations in the left sidebar.

The Conversations page uses a three-panel layout:

User personas panel

The left panel displays a list of user personas. Click a persona to load their conversation in the center panel.

Search: Type in the search field to filter the persona list by name.

Settings: Click the settings icon to toggle display options:

  • Hide empty: Hides personas with no user messages.

  • Hide unfound: Hides personas that could not be resolved.

Chronicle panel

The center panel (labeled Chronicle) shows the message thread for the selected persona. If the persona has multiple actors, an actor selector appears at the top of the panel.

Click the refresh icon to reload the latest messages.

Filters panel

Click the chevron toggle on the right side to expand or collapse the Filters panel.

Filter

Description

Type

Message category. Options: All, Messages, Events, Custom.

Event type

Tag-based filter for specific event types. Enabled only when Type is set to Custom.

Session Id

Filter by a specific session UUID.

Agent Personas

Filter by the agent persona involved in the conversation.

Connector

Filter by integration connector.

Date range

Preset date range selector.

From Date & Time

Custom start date and time picker.

To Date & Time

Custom end date and time picker.

Click Clear Filters to reset all filter values.

Persona details

Click a persona to view their details in a side drawer. The drawer shows:

  • Persona name and Id (with a copy button)

  • Actors section: Lists all actors linked to the persona, showing integration_idn / connector_idn and external_id for each.

  • Attributes section: Lists persona attributes with their idn and value.

Both the Actors and Attributes sections are collapsible.

Use case: Monitor a go-live

When launching a new AI Employee, use the Conversations page to monitor interactions in real time:

  1. Open the Conversations page and set the Type filter to All.

  2. Set the Date range to today.

  3. Watch the user personas list for new entries as conversations come in.

  4. Click a persona to review the message thread and verify the AI Employee is responding correctly.

  5. Use the Agent Personas filter to isolate conversations handled by a specific agent.
