The Personas page in the Builder lets you create and manage personas and their linked actors. Personas represent identities in the system β each agent is linked to one persona, and each user interacting with the AI Employee is associated with a persona.

Actors
Actors represent a persona's identity within a specific integration and connector. Each actor links a persona to an external system using three fields:
Field | Description |
| The integration the actor belongs to (e.g., |
| The specific connector within the integration. |
| The unique identifier for this persona in the external system. |
Actors are displayed in the persona detail drawer under the Actors section, showing integration_idn / connector_idn on the first line and external_id on the second.
ποΈ NOTE
Actors can only be deleted when the persona is not linked to an agent. If the persona has a linked agent, the actor delete option is unavailable.
How personas relate to agents
Each agent in the system is linked to exactly one persona. The persona defines the agent's identity β its name, attributes, knowledge base (AKB), and actors. When you create or edit an agent on the Projects page, you assign it a persona.
Agent personas: Personas linked to agents that represent the AI Employee's identity during conversations.
User personas: Personas representing the humans interacting with the AI Employee. Each user persona can have multiple actors across different integrations.
Reset an agent for testing
When you call an AI Employee to test it β whether through the Sandbox, a phone call, or any other channel β the system creates a user persona for you. That persona stores your conversation history, extracted details (name, email, etc.), and other attributes the agent learns during the interaction. On your next call, the agent reads that stored information and treats you as a returning contact rather than a new one.
To start a fresh test where the agent has no memory of previous interactions, delete the user persona that was created for your test call:
Open the Builder.
Click Personas in the left sidebar.
Find the persona created for your test (filter by Without Agent to narrow the list).
Click the delete icon on the persona row and confirm.
The next time you call the agent, a new persona is created with no history and the agent treats you as a first-time caller.
ποΈ NOTE
Deleting a persona permanently removes all of its data β conversation history, extracted attributes, and linked actors. Only delete test personas you no longer need.
