Builder - Profile

Updated over a week ago

The Profile page in the Builder stores organizational and personal account information for your Newo.ai account. This guide covers the fields available on the Profile tab and explains how they are used.

πŸ—’οΈ NOTE

The fields on the Profile page are platform metadata only. They control how your account appears within the Newo.ai platform β€” they do not affect your AI Employee's behavior, conversation flows, voice, or chat widget appearance. To configure how an AI Employee behaves, use the Attributes page instead.

Access the Profile page

  1. Open the Builder and log in.

  2. Click Profile in the top navigation bar.

  3. Select the Profile tab.

Customer Organization section

The Customer Organization section displays identifying and descriptive information about your organization.

Customer Idn

Read-only unique identifier for your organization (e.g., C_NE_VULTEEI8). Use this value when referencing your organization in support requests or API calls.

Organization name

The name of your organization as it appears in the Builder header, the Customer Portal header, and the Organization name column on the My Customer Organizations page. If this field is blank, the organization name displays as empty in those locations.

Your organization's website URL. Stored as metadata and displayed in partner organization setup screens.

Number of employees

Size range of your organization. Available options: below 50, 50–500, 500–5,000, over 5,000.

Industry

The industry your organization operates in.

Description

A free-text description of your organization. Stored as metadata only.

Update the organization name

If the organization name appears blank in the Portal Dashboard header or on the My Customer Organizations page, set it here.

  1. On the Profile tab, locate the Organization name field under Customer Organization.

  2. Enter the organization name (e.g., Bevri - Palo Alto).

  3. Click Save.

The updated name appears immediately in the Builder header, the Customer Portal header, and the My Customer Organizations table.

πŸ—’οΈ NOTE

The Organization name field controls only how your organization is labeled within the platform. It does not change what name your AI Employee uses when speaking to customers. To set the business name used by the AI Employee in conversations and reports, configure the project_business_name attribute on the Attributes page.
