Add payment methods
This guide explains how to set the project_attributes_payment_methods attribute so your AI Employee can accurately answer questions about accepted forms of payment.
What payment methods control
The Payment Methods attribute (project_attributes_payment_methods) lists the forms of payment the business accepts. This text is included in the agent's prompt context. When a customer asks "Do you accept credit cards?" or "What forms of payment do you take?", the AI Employee references this attribute to provide an accurate answer.
Add payment methods
Open the Builder.
Navigate to Attributes > Business.
Locate the Payment Methods attribute (
project_attributes_payment_methods).Enter a plain-text list of accepted payment methods.
Click Save.

All major credit cards and cash.

- Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) - Debit cards - Cash - Apple Pay - Google Pay
🗒️ NOTE
If this attribute is left empty, the AI Employee will not be able to answer payment-related questions and may respond with "I'm not sure about our payment options."
