Change the business address
This guide explains how to set the project_business_address attribute so your AI Employee can provide accurate location information to customers and calculate service coverage areas.
What the business address controls
The Business Address attribute (project_business_address) stores the complete physical address of the business. The AI Employee uses this address in several ways:
Business context: The address is included in the agent's prompt context, allowing it to reference the location during conversations (for example, "Our office is located at [address]").
Service area calculation: For home service and cleaning industries, the system automatically generates a default served area based on the address (for example, "We serve within a 50-mile radius from: [address]"). This calculation runs only when no custom served area has been configured.
Set the business address
Open the Builder.
Navigate to Attributes > Business.
Locate the Business Address attribute (
project_business_address).Enter the complete physical address, including street, city, state, and ZIP code.
Click Save.
Address guidelines by business type
Business type | What to enter | Example |
Single location | The complete physical address of the business. |

Multi-location | The complete physical address of the specific location this agent supports. |

Call center | The complete legal address of the organization or headquarters. |

🗒️ NOTE
For home service and cleaning businesses, always provide a precise address. The system uses this address to calculate the default 50-mile service radius. An incomplete or missing address results in an inaccurate served area.
Multi-location businesses
For businesses with multiple locations, the multi-location feature uses a separate attribute (project_business_locations) to store all location data. When multi-location support is enabled, project_business_address should contain all locations so the agent has full context during conversations.
